Julian Kurych came up with the biggest at-bat of the game by providing the Rapids with a bases loaded double to open the flood gates bringing across three runs. Jamestown threatened again in the 8th inning after Chase Keng drove in Josh Lamb to trim the deficit to 7-5. However, the Rapids drove in another two runs in the bottom of the frame to put the game out of reach for good.

With the win, the Rapids improved to a Central Division leading 13-6, while also creating some buzz, knocking off the league-leading Jamestown Jammers. This win also ended Jamestown’s 4-game win streak. The Rapids take on the Utica Blue Sox tomorrow night on the road, then the team returns home Thursday at 7:05 PM to host the Geneva Red Wings.
